Would Obama consider Ray Kelly for Homeland Security?

New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly would be “well-qualified” to run the Department of Homeland Security, Obama said in an interview with Univision’s affiliate in the New York/New Jersey area. He hasn’t actually named Kelly as his choice to replace outgoing Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, who is leaving to head the University of California system.

Was putting such a strong endorsement out there a first step toward seeing how Kelly’s name is received, or was it a case of the president being polite when being put on the spot? Obama said the commissioner “might be very happy where he is.” If Kelly isn’t, though, Obama said he’d want to know about it. “I think Ray Kelly is one of the best there is,” Obama said.

Including human-rights violator billionaire Penny Pritzker. Why not pay actual attention to Obama's actions as well as his words? They'll help you note the real, actual Trend indicating Ray Kelly is pre-planned. And via the links in the OP regarding his overtly racist and unConstitutional policies, an abomination whom Obama should mention only in damning terms, not as having any potential as secretary of the unConstitutional in itself DHS.

Your OPINION belongs in GD with the rest of the unquestioning sycophants who find no issue with Obama crying alligator tears for Trayvon while simultaneously mentioning Ray Kelly in terms of a Federal position.

What again is Obama doing about the horrific income inequality still functional in the US under his watch? Oh that's right; he sent militarized police to beat up and arrest the people who dared march and demand something be done. THAT'S ALL.
