Could this be a venue for the Occupy movement?

In light of our do nothing Congress going on a lonnng recess sometime today, I found myself wishing that those obstructionist Congress member wouldn't come back. Just go away and disappear into the cornfield. Then it occurred to me, that it could be a good time to protest them when they come back, both at the airport and on the steps of Congress telling them to turn around and go home. When their offices are empty, they are as effective as when they are in session. Would something like that stir the pot enough to get the attention of the media as to how disgusted the people of America are?

then they'd have a few weeks to plan it properly.

But to get any media attention, it would have to be a seriously outrageous confrontation, i.e. hundreds of protestors chained together blocking entrance to offices, private jets being prevented from landing, official cars boxed in by trucks etc, or there would have to be some element of violence ie police violence, or protestor vandalism. Otherwise the media won't touch it.

about this but other abuses by our elected officials. It seems moot right now though. I'm on the West Coast with no resources to join in across the continent so all I could do is cheer any effort on.
