Related: About this forumHello from Belgium
Long time lurker (12 year), did not really feel the need (nor did I think it was needed) to make an account.
Was lured in by a thread asking for outside views and here I am. I live in Belgium, and speak Dutch, French and English. If you notice weird grammar or spelling errors, please let me know, I love to improve my English knowledge and vocabulary.
I probably will not post that much, I have a very chaotic mind but I sometimes see patterns that may or may not be useful
I wish all of you the very best in this election. Take heart, don't forget to relax now and then and I'm pretty confident that Hillary will win this.
cheers!

(152,708 posts)I'm glad you're here! It's always great to have members who live outside the United States--you help us see what we look like to our neighbors.
Your English is excellent! I don't see any mistakes anywhere. I studied French in college, and I know that I could not write it anywhere as well as you do English!
Please chime in whenever you have something to say!
And I do believe you're right about Hillary.

(63,221 posts)Please do post more often! I love to hear what the perspective is from people observing from abroad. Honestly, please let us know what people in Belgium are thinking (well, I know you don't all think the same, but you know, the general mood) and what your personal opinion is too.
Sometimes we are so immersed in it ourselves, it is refreshing to hear a viewpoint from another culture. BTW, I have only been to Brugges (sp?) but it was one of my favorite places in Europe - so beautiful and quaint!

(144 posts)English name is Bruges, dutch name is Brugge, but for non-Dutch speakers that is hard to pronounce. It is indeed a beautiful city, I live more inland.
What I see on social media: people are falling of the Trump bandwagon, but now it is the "warmonger" trope that is being pushed. I suspect Hillary ads will be moving in that direction to pick off a last segment of undecideds or third party voters.

(18,603 posts)Decent story and fairly good acting. Shot on location.
I like to pick out areas and sites I know in movies filmed at locations I'm familiar with.
Hope to see more of you.
