If I have a .jpg file on my computer, how do I get it into a Post???

1. Upload it into a photo hosting site like Postimage.

Then copy the url assigned by the site into your DU post.

4. I tried this with DropBox and found that whoever wanted to use the "public" link...

... had to register with DropBox. There's stuff on the internet that suggests this isn't the case, but I can't figure it out. I'll check out PostImate.

6. Dropbox is too complicated unless you want to share large files.

3. I have a free account on imgbb

It's pretty easy.

I think you can post anon for a while, but they might delete the image after a while. Also it's easier to get the exact direct url, if you have an account.


So if I want to post my Shrinking Pundit (don't ask. It's a Ohzone thing.) img to my thing.

I just updload it to imgbb.


Make sure you have the direct link, and just put it in your post.

7. Still problems.

If I use imgbb.com, I'm blocked by Malwarebytes for "hijacking." Postimage.org seemed to work OK for me, but when I sent it to another person their MalwareBytes went off 5 times for Malvertising.
