DU Community Help
Related: About this forumI have these two questions-
1. At any time other than during the Olympics, is it appropriate to put an exclamation point after "USA?"
2. Does DU decorum condone telling another member you will put them on "Ignore" if they reply to your post?
Not asking for a friend. I have some errands to run now but will be interested in your responses.

(29,902 posts)Just like you can tell someone you are trashing their thread.
However, you can ask the Admin for an official answer.

question everything
(49,352 posts)In the old days, when we could explain why we would keep or hide an alerted post - and too many would not bother - I would often say: rebut, this is a discussion board. But for too many there is only one way to post here.
And, yes, I was once told that I was on ignore. Hillary in 2006 won MA even though both senators: Kerry and Kennedy supported Obama. So I pointed this out, with glee, perhaps..

2. Just use "ignore." Do you really need the headache?
