Related: About this forumWTAF??? Five times in the last four minutes I have gotten that damned
"verifying your browzer" with its circling green line, and a line at the bottom that reads, "protected by ezoic". VERY annoying.

(14,863 posts)I can't imagine what's happening. I always use one or more ad-blockers in addition to a star membership, so no guess from me.
The Cloudflare anti-hacking content server once in a great while will put up a browser verification screen.
Hopefully, the admins will see this and figure out what's going on, given your star membership.

that my sirius and mcafee subscriptions have expired. I have never had either of them.
Like the emails from the banks I don't use and companies I don't use.
Got a message faking the USPS today.
Unfortunately, I haven't found an easy way to report these. They want you to file a long fraud claim (even if I am just informing of phishing, never clicking on such stuff)
Most companies will let you forward an obvious phishing email to abuse@company_name.com
Chase uses phishing@chase.com.
Sometimes, it's not easy to do the right thing.
If you get caught in one of these, contact the help number at the company.
Unless it's Google, Facebook or X/Twitter.

(120,839 posts)Sorry about this, but it's nothing to worry about -- Ezoic is a partner of DU (provides our ads). This is something related to their service, but I'm also not entirely sure what it is. It's definitely nothing malicious, but it's also not something that we asked to be turned on. I''m in touch with them so I'll find out what's going on and see about getting it turned off.
