DU Community Help
Related: About this forumWhy was the legal assistance category removed
DU is a much smaller community than it used to be as of this latest version. Does anyone have any comment on that or the reduced categories for conversations like legal etc

(121,648 posts)and by having a legal assistance forum, that's what it could be assumed to be doing. If you need legal advice you should see a lawyer. Same goes for medical advice - don't look for it on the internet.

(855 posts)Obviously the internet is not a good primary resource for advice but it can be useful for connections that can themselves give advice. Liability issues then? I seem to recall the disclaimer being sufficient before the category elimination

Ive said to others in the past I have a -nearly- photographic memory but transposition errors and the like are absolutely a thing.
Thank you for weighing in (and the forum support generally, this place has been a major source of invisible support.)
