Turn off recommendations?

I'm suddenly getting yellow highlighted posts in threads - recommendations, I think?

What is this about, and how do I turn off?

1. Go to any thread with replies, and at the top of the reply tree, just below the OP

click the button that says "None" (or "5 Newest" if you want to highlight the five most recent replies).

Will I have to do this on every thread where recs are highlighted?

I must have turned it on by accident.
