Possible trigger, great result

I saw my counselor yesterday , we went through, a few things, that you guys may not know. Allow me, to share the backstory briefly.
My older brother abused me, when I was 12 years old. I told my Mom and Dad then. 335last week, and I'm now 64 years into my life. My Mother called me, and brought that episode up.

Ok , back to my visit,
She(counselor)8told me , koz, you were abused, young, look at how much good, you did, you saved LilBit, you, gave MrsK her last breath,
And you moved on,wasn't a smooth road, you just kept moving forward. Your mom called you . Sometimes, it takes 50 years, for people to feel, love, fot you, it's a lot shorter time .
Im just saying, I feel ok, after 50 years,

Talk to a professional, instead of here, and
OldManAdvice, bare your heart, in that room.
I puke, before every visit, and I baee my soul, and I walk out , calm

Im just Koz

Found a great CBT strategy.
Think of and write down 5 great things that happened in your life that you are proud of.
Was easy for me to come up with 2 or 3. Then I hit on a few more and then my list got past 20. I'm still smiling about that list and has helped me move on.
Good luck

I was abused physically sexually emotionally all my childhood and have cptsd and bad depression. Now I have MS on top of it so I really struggle.

I try to keep my house clean and fix dinners and do some art to give to people. That’s the best I’m able to do now.

Like your therapist said, we keep moving forward.
