Another step towards sanity.

With the victory for gun control advocates and gun violence victims by today's SCOTUS decision, our country has moved yet again towards common sense regulation of the "right" to own a lethal weapon:

"The U.S. Supreme Court backed the broad application of a federal law barring firearm possession by people convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence, ruling it could be used against two men convicted under a Maine law."

The gun nuts will argue that this is an "infringement," and they will be right (in both senses of the word). Not everyone should own a gun, and violent people absolutely should be barred from owing one. This is why background checks should include records of any type of anti-social behavior from any available and credible source.

It is past time that gun victims receive "due process" before some gun nut decides to solve their perceived problems with a gun.
