Blood in the streets.

Those who defend our crazy gun rights movement often point out that "blood doesn't run in the streets" every time some new reduction in gun restrictions happens. Only thing is that blood is already running in the streets when the US is compared to other countries.

Loosening gun restricting can't make blood run in the streets any more than it already is.

is that if not for the greed of the right-wing gun lobby and the death merchants that they represent, the USA could lead the world in gun safety. The apologists who are conned by the NRA/ILA/GOA fear tactics into buying more and more guns are either too stupid to realize that they are being lied to, or are truly sociopathic gun nuts.
