Rhode Island Day of Action

Thursday, March 28, 2013 1:30 PM until 4:30 PM
WHO: Moms Demand Action – Rhode Island Chapter
WHERE: Rhode Island State House in the Rotunda

The event will start with a press conference at 1:30 p.m. and will continue as we meet and greet all the members of the Rhode Island legislature while they are on their way to start the day’s session. We will have 6 tables set up with our information and will be ready to answer questions from the press and our legislators.

Spring into Action — St. Louis, MO

WHERE: Kiener Plaza, Downtown St. Louis

This will be a rally that will focus both on creating awareness of the epidemic of gun violence in this country and in our city, and focusing on what we can do to help prevent more gun deaths.

Assembly for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America

Moms Demand Action local Central AZ/Phoenix Chapter is hosting a peaceful assembly to promote common sense gun legislation. Arizona Congressman Chad Campbell will be speaking, among others.

Texas Rally for Gun Sense

Friday, April 6, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
WHO: Moms Demand Action – TX Austin Chapter
WHERE: Texas State Capitol

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Texas Gun Sense, and the Texas Chapters of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence are coming together to host a “Texas Rally for Gun Sense” at the Texas State Capitol.

Please join us in support of stronger gun laws like universal background checks, high-capacity ammunition magazine limits, gun-free schools and other sensible and responsible federal and state proposals. This will be a family friendly event to support sensible gun legislation to make our communities safer.

There will be a dynamic line-up of speakers, as well as live music and kids activities. Children are welcome. Bring your signs, bring your friends and families, and let’s show how important gun violence prevention is to our communities! (free parking available in Capitol Visitors Parking Garage at 1201 San Jacinto)
