a few weeks ago when I bought another one. No big deal to me, and I'm pro-2A. (Both were purchased from FFL's, not a private sale).

My gun was purchased at a local hunting and fishing store.
But then, I also have a TWIC. That is a clearance most don't have.
Oh. The gun is locked in a safe unless it is in my personal possession.

Even if gun nutters say the killers would just buy a gun from an illegal source, it will stop a percentage of needless deaths.
That's worth it in my book.
Some is better than none.

even a small hurdle is enough to dissuade a shitload of people.

One more thing to stem the tide. AND it will stop more street crime than any AWB would...
