You'd think they'd be more sympathetic to folks who have been killed by their sick little hobby, and those that cared about them.

They were probably as afraid of what their own supporters might say as much as they are afraid of dead and wounded gun victims.

(54,770 posts)who buy lots of guns and carry in public are basically polluters; the majority are not much better than Zimmerman or the police we see killing unarmed teenagers; those that say they are "responsible gun owners," really aren't; unless we take actions like other civilized countries, things will get worse and we will see more Bundy Ranch Militia types and open carriers intimidating people; too many gunners profit from them and promote proliferation of guns in society; etc. While I'm sure there are a few exceptions to my beliefs, I don't see a lot of them, hence my use of the term "majority."
I expressed my opinion in the RKBA Forum, and refused to recant to those who were offended.
I don't get too concerned about people who have a gun or two at home for hunting and maybe self-defense, but leave them there. But the majority of gun fanciers don't.
In summary, I think we could do with less of this crud.
And just to head off one of your, and other gunners', usual responses -- I realize nothing above is illegal. But, it ought to be, and it is immoral and is becoming more and more like walking around with a confederate flag or swastika. Whine if you want to, but you asked.
Does that help you? So, your turn -- Why do you have so many guns, promote them, carry guns, and the like?

(9,951 posts)If so, that's pretty bad, but not, IMO, a bannable offense.
While you're correct that those pictures aren't of anything illegal, IMO, it's damned stupid to open carry like that, it creates too much angst among people and is counterproductive to the pro fireams movement, now, I have no problem with qualified citizens carrying concealed with strict training and licensing.
What difference does it matter to you how many firearms I own or don't own? My firearms are no threat to anyone except wild game or predators trying to make a meal of my farm animals.
