sickened by people who would insist on keeping a toy that they know kills tens of thousands a year.

I cant and wont speak to them anymore unless it is about electing ANY Democrat who runs for ANY office (at least until an actual liberal party can gain enough popularity to win an election)

I equate the insistence to own guns in the face of such tragedy day after day with a lack of maturity.

We need their votes so it is best if people like me stay away from them as I cannot control my fury when it comes to this.

IF so, boy do I get it.

IT is just so insane, look at what Australia did, nut case shot up a bunch of people and almost overnight and with little argument, bye bye to the gun problem.

It may have been more involved, I dont know the whole story, but we cant do that here due to maturity issues.

We get it, you don't like firearms, so don't own any.

if the 2A were repealed tomorrow, it would then fall to the states to set their own firearms laws.

What does it say, that we value the right to have firearms, more than life, itself. Terrorists, care nothing of the lives of women, children, the elderly, men - all innocent people, just trying to get by, day-after-day. But the terrorist doesn't care, it's more important to them to cause harm, terror and death. Gun nuts are the same. Some man whose wife, had threatened to separate from him, because he kept his guns lying around in the open, couldn't, wouldn't accept responsibility when his own child got shot in the mouth, by another child, by the father's gun. I guess he didn't value his son's life, as much as his right to be a 'responsible' gun owner.
A study found that people who own, pit bulls, are a bit slow 'upstairs', I think the same can be said about a lot of gun owners.
