I find it interesting how much the activity in GC&RKBA declined after someone posted these links

here on Saturday http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1172&pid=158637

In fact, the gun crazy care about guns so much, the subject of firearms is the one and only reason some DU members registered and visit here in the first place. It's a poorly kept secret that this site is regularly visited by members of the big firearms sites like AR15.com and The Firing Line for trolling purposes

Link?

A more recent one, with some admissions that their trolls like to start infighting here:

Total asshole, never fooled anyone, except somehow avoided the ban stick until they completely went over the edge.

although slackmaster came across (to me) as actually quite reasonable, compared to some of them.

Of those three, slackmaster seems most likely. I don't know if he went with DUers to Yankee games and lunches in Boston, as that person says he did.

Anyone who has tangled with some of those folks finds little surprising about the disclosures in the links above.

edit: Actually that linked thread is from 2011. The person was banned before I signed up, so it couldn't be slackmaster. Though several in that thread say they have a number of moles over here.

Dedicated to one specific type of gun?

I don't post enough back here to get giphy with this but that's kind of - I dunno. . .

I can't believe that even exists. That adds nothing to the world.

Was curious about this and checked Alexa rankings. One of the two sites mentioned is a a good bit smaller than DU and the other is significantly larger. The Gungeon is a tiny tip of the iceberg.

DU is 3254 in the US and 12235 in the world
thefiringline.com is 6877 in the US and 32889 in the world
ar15.com is 1250 in the US and 5561 in the world

If they really want to impress me, they should start posting on subjects unrelated to guns. Oh, yeah, that has resulted in many an RKBA flavored pizza over the years.
