Straw purchases and easy access to guns are a huge problem in this country, but our spineless Congress is afraid of the right-wing gun lobby and will not pass gun control legislation to close these loopholes in the law.

that in AZ you can buy whatever you want from a store, then turn around and sell/give it to someone else and that's legal.

According to a federal complaint, Hammond said he got some of the guns from his father and others “he had come across over the years.”
“Hammond stated he believed the right to have guns came from God and not from government,” according to the complaint.

Hopefully the law allows the authorities to confiscate the entire arsenal, so he'll now be a bad guy WITHOUT a gun

Although the right-wing gun lobby supporters warn that calling the cops on someone carrying a gun in public will result in a "false report" charge, this story indicates that is not always the case.
