Gun control poll says state residents against permit repeal

The poll found that 71 percent of those surveyed opposed repealing the current state law requiring registration, background checks, and completion of a gun safety course to obtain a concealed weapon permit, including 64 percent of gun owners.

Likewise, 83 percent of those polled say they favor the current concealed carry permit requirements, including 81 percent who identified themselves as gun owners.

All this and the bill to repeal the law regarding concealed carry passed the senate 32-2. Who does the senate of WV represent? It's clear that the senators could not give a shit what their voters want so I guess the gun lobby has successfully purchased at least 32 of them.

The strangle hold that the NRA has on so many legislatures has to end. Support a gun control group of your choice any way you can.
