SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Advocates of gun control often say states that have expanded background checks have far fewer women gunned down by their domestic partners. Now, lawmakers in Oregon are targeting convicted domestic abusers directly with legislation making it harder for them to keep their firearms.

Yet another state moves to take guns away from convicted wife beaters. Seems that gunners have a hard time making a cogent argument to let these sub human abusers keep guns but still they try. Who'da thought.

some of these abusers aren't so clever either, some will find ways around it but it might stop a significant number of murders.
