Ohio man accidentally shot himself in Chick-fil-A while pulling up his pants

This is what happens when you come into a chicken restaurant cocked.

An Ohio man accidentally shot himself in a Chick-fil-A while pulling up his pants in the bathroom Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The 45-year-old man was licensed to carry the concealed Glock pistol that fired one shot, grazing his leg, but the weapon did not have a safety, the Journal-News reported.

Customers reportedly didn’t hear the blast from the bathroom in the Hamilton restaurant, according to WMOH.

The man walked out of the restaurant and went to the hospital as a precaution. He was not seriously injured and won’t be charged for his fast food firearm flub.

Drop things, spill stuff, fumble it not paying attention.

Which is one of the several reasons I don't take a pistol to fast food restaurants.

... having an "accident" while having one of his "incidents" in a restroom! Don't think Chick-Fil-A would like to have that kind of thing happening there and would have kept someone like him out!

This sounds a lot like an incident a DUer reported he witnessed personally here in Eugene, Oregon a couple of years ago, when some idiot near him as an "open carry" advocate shot himself in the bathroom as well, and had to be taken to a hospital.
