It is the Base, I fear, who are the real dummies, or who refuse to see what is so plainly visible right in front of their own disbelieving eyes, that they've been snookered for the past 20+ years by phony Democratic bi-partisanship/triangulation..

(14,255 posts)6. As far as I can see, most prominent Dems won't do this because this would anger the big money
contributors. And less prominent Dems go along because they are supposed to, "for the good of the party", for some "legacy", or whatever. The actual needs of citizens seem to become quite unimportant once a lot of dems get to Washington.

There are no viable alternatives to social security and medicare.
There is an active scheme in place to destroy both programs.
