Warren on softening Wall Street tone: 'Give me a break'

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on Friday laughed off suggestions that using gentler rhetoric would improve her relationship with big banks.

“Do you think that if I used a sweeter tone with the banks, that if I said very nicely, ‘We should have broken you into pieces,’ that everything would be fine?” she asked audience members at the Know Your Value Conference in Philadelphia.

“Do you think that if I smiled more at banking committee hearings, that Wall Street would put me on their Christmas card lists?” she continued. “Give me a break.”

The Huffington Post reported that Warren revealed she was “still angry” about the 2008 financial collapse and government’s resulting bailout of the corporations involved. She criticizes Wall Street so harshly, she added, because of how poorly it has treated average Americans.

“They didn’t stop the train wreck happening right in front of them,” Warren argued of the mortgage market’s disintegration in 2008.

5. It's is sad that there are so few public figures willing to call it like it is. Gaming the system

like they have is not a victimless crime, but nearly everyone in Washington pretends that it is because they would need to grow a spine and throw away their multi-million dollar post-retirement gigs to do something about it.

I can only think of two representatives that are willing to speak so plainly about this problem. So sad.

And got his face slapped for even suggesting that the banksters had any fault in the Great Recession of 2008-2009. Being nice just encourages more bad behavior.

10. Speculators attack US core :DuPont,Qualcomm,Mylan to build tax exempt Monopoly

Senator Warren is right , take the case of these 3 huge US Companies :
Right now a group of speculators and shorters ( bets against a Company, stock, position, assets, insurance ,etc.) is trying to insert themselves in these 3 Companies Boards, load them up w/ huge Debts and take key assets to Off-Shore Tax Shelters.

Even when these 3 US Companies are far away from good+honest, they are 100.000's of US Jobs and billions in US assets, so their loss is critical for the US Economy + US Jobs :
1 ) DuPont is under attack by Trian,
2 ) Qualcomm is under attack by Jana,
3 ) Mylan is under attack by Teva.
These 3 attackers work together like clockwork , Trian-Jana-Teva work together to take key assets out of US while creating Monopoly, control GMO Seeds for Foods ( DuPont) , their needed Medicines (Teva ) and making sure their communications are under their control ( Qualcomm ) .
This is a military-financial take over, but as usual , Washington DC and the US Congress are clueless and will be the last ones to figure it out, very sad !
Will the US Senate + US House do something ? Do they even know? Would they care ?
If you know US Regulators, FBI, FTC, CFTC, DoJ Members, will you tell them to check them out ?
This is what Senator Warren is facing , and what none of the D+R candidates will even talk about, all of them get paid by their lobby's to look the other way.
If we don't stop these abuses and others, this great country does not have a chance.
