Elizabeth Warren
Related: About this forumTwo days in a row
The DU Warren Group had no donations on Friday or Saturday. I was out of town yesterday and didn't post anything.
The absolute minimum donation is $1. There is an express option for just $3. Your entire donation goes straight to Senator Warren's election committee through ActBlue. So far DUer's from eight different states have kicked in. We raised $210 in just one week.
Donate here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/duforwarren
ActBlue is a nonprofit, building fundraising technology for the left. Our mission is to democratize power and help small-dollar donors make their voices heard in a real way.
We develop top-of-the-line fundraising software and offer simple, intuitive tools to help campaigns and organizations connect with new and existing grassroots donors. As a result, nonprofits thrive and Democratic campaigns get more donations through ActBlue than any other platform. Together, we build powerful movements.
How do we make that happen? Well, first we test and retest our contribution forms to maximize conversion rates. We make it as easy as possible to give, no matter where the donor is, or on what device theyre using. And we make it free for campaigns and organizations no tricks or add-ons. And with a top-notch tech team, our tools are always dependable, and were always working to upgrade them.
Thats why a majority of Democratic Senate and House campaigns along with the DCCC, DSCC, DGA, over one-third of statewide campaigns, and advocacy organizations around the country have chosen ActBlue.
But were so much more than a toolset.
Together, weve raised 3,229,263,811 dollars for Democrats and progressive causes in just 14 years. Weve built more than just a fundraising platform. Weve created the kind of grassroots power that can take on, and beat back, the power of corporate spending and secretive super PACs.
And thats the difference that ActBlue makes to candidates, organizations, and the supporters who champion them.

but not through the DU site.

(103,703 posts)2. Why not
Just curious since it ALL goes to the exact same place.

(15,329 posts)3. I get my reminders by email from the Campaign not DU.
Did not know I was slighting Warren. But apparently am since DU is making a big deal out of it making her look weak. I must fall in line.

(103,703 posts)4. Making her look weak?
This same exact method of fundraising for Bernie on DU raised over $77,000 in the last election cycle for president. That took just over one year to do. We got a thank you letter from Bernie for the effort.

(15,329 posts)5. Where is Bernies 2020 DU account? For that matter why is there not a
DU account for each and every primary contender with daily reports on all accounts?
Omaha Steve
(103,703 posts)6. I set up Bernie's 2016 account
I also set up one for Hillary, and one one for O'Malley by request. ANYBODY is free to start an ActBlue for almost any D candidate, cause, etc. At this point I'm not setting up accounts by request for this cycle.

(15,329 posts)7. Thank you. This is explains much.

(103,703 posts)10. I was asked to open a Bernie 2020 link
Thoughts?

(46,609 posts)11. There are so few people in the Sanders group here I'm not sure it would be worth it.
Most of us are in FB groups and donate there. You can start a post in the Sanders group to see if anyone here wants it.

who have no intention of sending her donations.
