Helping one another here, within DU, is GOOD. :)

If you haven't seen the poll OP I created yesterday, regarding how to move forward as a community and help one another more efficiently and effectively, please read and chime in.

I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm hoping someone will step forward and want to create and host such a subgroup as is discussed here.

Maybe a "Help a DUer" group, playing off the title of the OPs I create.

With more help, I/we could get better updates and post the Good News results here. I haven't been successful in getting people to provide testimonials; they send me private messages of thanks but I've never had the time or energy following up to encourage them to please share more publicly...my time/attention is always on the next batch of people who have come to Wishadoo in need of help.

Anyway, all of this does tie in with this GOOD NEWS group, imho, hence me posting this here.

Thanks!

low post count, clearly, and have never hosted a group or know what it involves. I have an hour or two a day I could devote to help out, but would probably need a co-host. Not sure what the rules are regarding post counts and hosts? I work about 60 hours a week, and travel some for my job, in addition to kids, two dogs, etc, etc., so would definitely need some help hosting, but am willing to take it on with someone.

Let me know.

I don't know what the rules are either in that regard. This is the first group I've ever hosted and I knew it would be easy compared to other groups. A subgroup such as we're discussing would not be so easy, depending upon how admins prefer it work (if they approve such a subgroup at all, that is).

I hope to get many more people to vote/comment in the poll OP before approaching admins.

I'll let you know if it edges closer to such a group. Thank you again. It's appreciated.
