I watched "Brooklyn". I have been a fan of Saoirse Ronan since watching "Atonement"

I put off watching "Brooklyn". I figured it might be like "Angela's Ashes", but more girly.

I figured if I watched it, considering the reviews, I would soon get into the mood of the film, love it, cry like a girly, and have a need to read the book, and all predictions became true.

I love this movie, and continue to love Miss Ronan.

So much that I bought it and have watched it several times. I had read the book as well. I was very moved by the immigrant theme, also the Irish theme as my grandparents arrived from Ireland in the early 1920's.

I will be going to California in a few weeks and will watch the movie with my daughter. I asked her wait to see it together.
It meant so much to me, I want to be with her when she sees it.
