3. This is the first time I've seen anything about this movie.

A couple of years ago I read The Age of Edison: Electric Light and the Invention of Modern America which was absolutely breathtaking. And with all due respect, based on that preview, the book was vastly better.

5. It looks like a movie I'd enjoy.

I was always interested in the dynamics of the electric "wars", and there are some fine actors in it. Cumberbatch and Shannon, but I missed who was playing Tesla. Michael Shannon has been around a long time, and he's finally getting some roles commensurate to his talent. I generally like anything he's in.
