Anyone seen the new Indiana Jones movie?

Just came home from the movies. Lots of car and tuck-tuck chases, fights on a train, pretty good digital de-aging of Harrison Ford, and the lead actress has lots of spunk. But my favorite scene is when ...

Marion returns. Guess sentimentality is what makes us return to this franchise.

... a 9 out of 10 for me.

Instead I'll give it a 7 for bumping me out of the "willing suspension of disbelief" zone a few times.

Nevertheless, after covid closed the theaters, I love going back to the movies again.

knowing I was going to go see it this afternoon.

I liked it for the most part. It's not as good as the first or third installments, but it beats Temple of Doom in my book, and I may have liked it better than Crystal Skull, too. Not sure yet, I need to let it sit with me a bit.

Just watched the movie, came here and found this thread. Well I had a really good time watching it. It was better than what I was expecting. Better than the previous one IMHO.

I'd rank them as:

1) Raiders
2) Last Crusade
3) Dial of Destiny
4) Crystal Skull
5) Temple of Doom

So, in line with the Vacation movies but opposite of the Star Trek features, the odd-numbered films are good and the even-numbered films are not.
