Just saw Ben Simmons being interviewed on ESPN about...

finally playing in the Nets' next game after not playing for a year and a back injury. He said he's watched film and Kyrie and Durant play and because "I have such a high IQ" I believe I can help on offense by pushing the ball if the guys want to run....

He actually said because "I have such a high IQ"

I didn't know he's another Dunning-Kruger effect guy Like Irving. Two of those on the same team...

God!

Yes, ridiculous. IMO he's out of position. He should be a back-up power forward... brush Apr 2022 #2
I've watched him play since he was at LSU and it's crazy to me Docreed2003 Apr 2022 #3

Ben, how bout working on that jump shot?!

Simmons is a joke and I hate that Durant is stuck with him. Ben has never, not once, lived up to his incredible potential. He couldn't do it at LSU and he hasn't done it in the NBA.

and on the bench because he can't score or hit free throws. He's good for defense, a few rebounds and close-in layups he can't miss in spelling the starter.

I wish Durant had learned to brush off Draymond Green's mouth and stayed with the Warriors all along because pairing with Irving, who couldn't just get the vaxx, has gotten him nowhere either. Even Harden had enough sense to get away from the Nets.

That the kid STILL hasn't developed a shot! I can't understand how he thinks he's a star player when essentially what he is is a glorified facilitator.

I agree completely on KD. I so wish he had stayed in GS. That locker room in Brooklyn must be crazy. I really want to see Nash succeed at coaching but that remains to be seen. I think the Celtics will take them in six
