WNBA, Team USA Player Reached 3,000 Career Points In Sparks-Lynx Game

On Tuesday night, the Minnesota Lynx defeated the Los Angeles Sparks 82-67. The Lynx held on to their first-place spot in the WNBA Western Conference standings while the Sparks inched closer to last place.

Lynx star Napheesa Collier was sidelined for the game with a foot injury she suffered early on in the month. Collier will represent Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics women's 5x5 basketball. But another Team USA representative was active in this game, and she reached a significant milestone.

Sparks forward Dearica Hamby recorded her 3,000th career point against the Lynx. The achievement happened midway through the third quarter on a nice post-move for a layup.
