April 26th the journey began...
A small tiger striped seed put forth its presence into the light. Gently cared for in its first days of life, it thrived. By May of this year it was able to be moved to its permanent home, since a great vegetation stage was nearing completion.
This is the first photoperiod cannabis plant Ive grown in decades, I have my main grows in 4x4 and a 2x4 grow tents. I was granted the seed by a fellow grower, its an Acapulco Gold landrace.
Gently LSTed in veg, never cut but bent to produce additional tops. Grown in a fabric pot substrate is coco coir with amendments for better growth. Fertilizers were Comfrey Tea, and Worm Castings thats all. Since we grow the Comfrey this plant is coming in very cheap. 30 pound bag of castings 40 bucks, if I remember correctly, used for other plants too so, Cheap!
Buds really started to thicken in the cooler nights even though its still September. Because its in the greenhouse I should be able to stretch out the season till sometime in November, weather dependent. So she has another month and a half to complete ripening.
MAY:
Now the fade is in full swing
the end of the journey is coming to an end. Grew another couple feet and thickened nicely.
Sneak peek at the sugar coming in.
