Cannabis
Related: About this forumI consume CBD oil sublingually. Should I try vaping it?
I take CBD oil sublingually and have thought about possible vaping it. Has anyone done both that can give me advice on whether or not I should vape it.
The sublingually consumed seems to wear off rather quickly. I currently take dropperfulls of 500mg which is about in the middle of the available strengths. It does tend to get pricey above that level.
I need longer lasting effects for pain, neuropathy, and sleep but I can't have a $30 a day medicine bill for this stuff.
I like smoking cannabis when I can but I cannot do that when traveling with work very much.
Any CBD vaping advice is appreciated.

(21,067 posts)They are these little gummy bear type of things. You eat one of them abt. 1 hr. before you go to bed ( buy the "indica" strain, not sativa). You get four of them (4 doses) for $8.50 on discount day or abt. $16/week.
You save a lot of money vaping period. I guess you could put a bit of the CBD oil on what goes into the vape and see how it works.
I know what you mean abt. peripheral neuropathy. It is a real bitch isn't it and so few understand. What else are you doing for this problem? I totally relate if that helps any.

Smoking weed helps tons. It helps me relax and sleep. Luckily I rarely get the pain and burning. Mostly I get the numbness. I've had it for 5 years now and I've been smoking for three. I think in a while cannabis will be consumed daily by everyone on the planet who wants it. It's saved my life.
I've been without for ten days and am hurting. I'll have more by the week's end hopefully.
I've taken cbd when I've had to travel for work or when I'm out.

(21,067 posts)I've been able to stay at the same levels of pain meds. since 2009 -- 8 years now. I am certain you can get by with less of the pain meds. by using it. I am not on MS drugs as they cost as much as $15K a month and efficacy is highly questionable.
It has neuroprotective factors it and how does your family know if it does no good? They have not a clue.
It is such a mysterious thing to be plagued with. It gets worse as you age. The occasional patches of numbness and pain are now everywhere. I live at a pain level 5 when medicated and don't remember what a level zero is! I get burning pain in my feet legs and lots of other places and pain so severe I cannot run a comb through my scalp. I wonder how much worse it will get?
Do what you must for yourself. Indica strains are best for sleep and pain. CBDs are sadly overpriced. They are readily available as sprays and it is called Sativex in Canada where it is legal.
Take care.
