Cannabis
Related: About this forumDid you see the Girl Scout selling cookies oitside of the
Urban Leaf dispensary in San Diego, CA? Today a man was talking to people outside of Trader Joe's in San Diego near some Girl Scouts who were selling cookies. He had a table with a cloth with the cover art from Dark Side of the Moon and is running as a Progressive Independent. I spoke with him about issues, donated some money and asked if he wanted a 3 Musketeers candy. He said "No thanks" since tons of people were offering him food all day. I told him that he should talk to people outside of Urban Leaf like the Girl Scouts do and that idea never occurred to him. My question is, "If he were outside of a dispensary and someone donated money to his political campiagn it would be legal, but would offering him some weed be legal? And if he accepted it could he get busted?". I was just wondering.

(5,371 posts)...it is legal to give cannabis to another person who is least 21 years old.
It is illegal to sell any amount to any person, if the seller is not authorized by the State and Local Authorities.
An individual having more than an ounce in their possession would be violating the law, so if people "donated" more than an ounce, that could be problematic.
Lastly, an individual may grow up to six plants at one time.
One more edit: It is illegal to actually smoke/ingest cannabis almost everywhere except in one's own, or a friend's home/residence.
And, obviously, it is illegal to "smoke and drive."

(796 posts)Really needs to lose the Dark Side of the Moon thang. Doesn't say "progressive independent" to me.
Girl Scouts selling cookies outside the dispensary is what will truly make America great again, though. "Sure, I'll have some Thin Mints with my Gorilla Glue #4. make it 3 boxes. oooo and a couple Tagalongs!!"
Boom, everyone profits!

(6,675 posts)they want the cannabis places far from schools, and children. Might get the dispensary thrown out of town. I was trying to buy for my daughter (handicapped, aged 45 but small and young looking) they would not let me anywhere near the place!
