There was an episode in which Joe and a hippie had a long debate. The hippie said pot would be legal someday. Joe said he doubted it. It took a long time.

.this was '52..the date on the program surprised me as well.. the Studebakers pretty much cinched it. Harry Morgan wasnt even in this one yet. This was right off the radio series..

an interesting fact my brother pointed out to me long ago in the early 70's. Poor old Joe just didn't know.

I think I'll celebrate that and the long day today by going out to the garage to see what I might rustle up.
