Did you ever see "Milhouse?" From the same period, a brilliant documentary on Tricky Dick's manipulative persona, with extensive use of TV footage and outtakes.

3. I've read reviews of the book and it sounds like a pulp fiction scare piece.

How much longer will people be able to make money "exposing" the "dangers" of the "evil weed?" President Nixon commissioned a study on marijuana to prove it was a dangerous narcotic. The study found that people in Jamaica who had been smoking an ounce a day for 40 years had no damage other than a few cases of emphysema. OK, emphysema is a definite sign that you are smoking too much. Even banana peels will give you emphysema if you smoke an ounce a day for 40 years. Nixon, of course, suppressed the findings as much as he could, but it came out in paperback and I still have a copy.
