Related: About this forumSaturation levels?
I'm infusing coconut oil from my CBD grow last fall.
My first batch I used 2 grams of dried decarrbed flowers to 1 ounce of oil (2 to 1). I add powdered lecithin also.
I was thinking of a 4 to 1 considering it has little if any psychoactive effect. No "high" means I can up the concentration levels without concern.
I use a Magical Butter Machine and a fine screen filter to filter it when done.
I just wondering if anyone knows the laws of physics?
Is there a level of saturation that is reached where adding more flowers is pointless?

(16,101 posts)A friend gave me a vile of cannabis coconut oil last year and it helped immensely and almost immediately with muscle pain from an injury. I don't think it served to heal the injury, but it sure reduced the discomfort with no side effects that I could tell.
I grew two plants last summer and have been planning to make the oil, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Got tons of buds though -- probably will give most of it away.

(28,136 posts)I made a lotion with the oil, shea butter, beeswax, and lavender.
I use the straight coconut oil in 000 caps and to bake brownies. The caps I keep in the fridge and when I use them I pop the capsule top off and squeeze the solidified oil into my mouth to dissolve.

(3,433 posts)I came across this blog. There are many articles which are quite informative if a bit heady at times. I had to dig out my old text books a few times to refresh my vocabulary and definition. Still, there is a ton of useful data here.
