1. I was going to a pain doctor when FL was gearing up to vote on legalization.

There were 2 doctors in the office. And they got ahold of false anti-marijuana propaganda and littered their offices with it.

"Facts" like pot is a gateway drug and how legalizing it would also make it so much easier for kids to get it. A bunch of that kind of fake news was all over the waiting room in the form of flyers. They even had some posters on the wall.

Fast forward a couple years....

The doctor that I saw is now serving 18 months in prison for taking illegal kickbacks from some medical company and the other avoided jail by paying back over 2 million dollars that he had taken.

It amazes me how horrible these doctors can be. Obviously they didn't want pot on the market because they wanted their peeps on the drugs that they prescribed. That people would completely ignore the welfare of others to make money is just astounding to me.

And the money is never enough. They always want more. That's why the love of money is the root of all evil I suppose.
