Somethings rotten in the Big Apple for Hillary Clinton.
An uncomfortably close shot of her death stare goes viral. The Bernie or Bust movement grips the nation. A new poll shows her big lead in New York dwindling.
Whats next an email disclosing her undying love for David Ortiz?
All of this is happening in Hillarys backyard, just a few weeks before she was supposed to finally stamp out The Bern in the April 19 primary. And once again the Clinton campaign is sweating it out and being forced to lower expectations.

Reply: No
Answer: Well I suggest you do a bit of homework and find out what it means to Feel The Bern!
Reply: No, I want a woman.
Answer: Is that the only qualification that interests you for a president of the United States?

Noted this woman seemed not informed at all and had no awareness of Bernie Sanders nor Donald tRump either. Seems anything female would have suited her -- even Sarah Palin I'd guess. I seriously hope that she was not a good example of a HRC supporter. Oh well ...

(14,459 posts)As others have pointed out, it's probably over the FBI investigation, but whatever the source it's causing a meltdown at Team Hill headquarters.

(5,400 posts)I saw people use strong body language in their rejection of Secretary Clinton, and light up when speaking in support of Senator Sanders.
I guess it's OK to say it was running over five to one Sanders vs. Clinton. About one in five undecided, and a couple voting Republican or disgusted at the whole process (I only canvass registered Democrats). I had one meh day last week with lots of undecideds and a bit less Sanders support. Though of course in Manhattan Clinton has many devoted followers, and the support of the party. Upstate might have a lot of party loyalty, and be relatively more conservative, so I won't guess about them.
Some of the "feelthebern" canvassers* beat me to some doors today, I saw their literature in the doors at homes where nobody was answering. A few people also said they'd talked to them.
*I'm using the MiniVan app a campaign volunteer set me up with. This is the grass roots one: http://www.wired.com/2016/01/sanders-new-canvassing-app-on-boards-volunteers-in-seconds/

(12,471 posts)All I see are Bernie bumper stickers, yard signs, and people with Bernie buttons.
I have seen several Drumpf bumper stickers (You know the ones with "Make Amerika Grate Again" on them).
I also have seen only ONE Clinton yard sign.
I seriously doubt that at least in the Hudson Valley, north of NYC there is much, if any support for her.

(5,400 posts)Here supports is there (the polling can't have that totally wrong), I guess they're just not as enthused. That could be a real problem for Clinton if many of them just blow off voting.

(1,268 posts)Not only will it be a truck load of exploding cattle to her campaign, it will be the biggest earthquake and tsunami in political history.
Then all of us will start singing.........
"Start spreading the news. I'm leaving today. I want to be a part of it, New York......"
