O'Malley Raised $2mm in 1st month

Good news. O'Malley raised $2mm in the first month of his campaign. The media is trying to spin it as bad news, but considering Sanders was in the race 1 1/2 months longer than him and Hillary 2 months longer, I think $2mm is excellent.

It's certainly enough to keep him competitive in IA and NH.

Next we need to see how much the O'Malley PAC raised.

'he told donors during a conference call Wednesday morning.

is positioned ahead of another Democratic hopeful, former Vermont senator and governor Lincoln Chafee, who reported this week that he had raised just $30,000 from donors, in addition to lending his campaign $364,000.

Former Virginia senator Jim Webb, who is also competing for the nomination, did not have to file because he did not officially declare his candidacy until after the quarterly reporting period had closed.'

NOTE WaPo misstated where Chafee's from, RI, NOT VT!

Off to my debit card!
