Hold strong.

'That is the message I told my supporters in Iowa tonight.

We’ve been running a true Iowa campaign so far. We have held more than 170 events, I have stood on more than 170 chairs, and I have taken my jacket off more than 170 times before answering questions from caucus goers across the state.

Our country is moving to a more connected and compassionate place. We need to move beyond these divided times. I have the experience of doing just that. Over my 15 years of executive experience, I worked with members of both parties to move my state forward and get things done.

We need a new leader to do the same thing in Washington, and to build on President Obama’s accomplishments.

As I told my supporters in Iowa, hold strong, and lift me up as a new leader.'

Thank you,
Martin O’Malley

I don't know what the future holds for him, but he is needed on a national stage and I hope he gets the opportunity.
