The numbers are what the numbers are
After SC, I stated that Buttigieg had no path to the nomination and had to drop out. I was at his last rally when the results came in. He dropped the next day. Buttigieg won Iowa (albeit barely) and placed a very close 2nd in NH, but couldn't get it done anywhere else. The numbers were, what the numbers were. Now we have Sanders not winning any state but VT with over 50% while Biden won SC, NC, VA, TN, MS, MI, MO, and AL with over 50% of the vote. Going forward there are no states left where a significant portion of the electorate has voted before SC. There is literally no state where Sanders can be expected to clear even 55% of the vote let alone the 60% he would actually need to start eating into the delegate lead Biden has built up. Sanders and his supporters, as upset as they are over this state of affairs, are going to have to acknowledge it. I have voted for only 2 primary winners in a voting career that started in 1988 (Simon, Tsongas, Gore, Dean, Clinton, Clinton. Buttigieg) I did vote for Clinton in 96 and Obama in 2012 but I am not counting them as they weren't contested. So my winners were Al Gore 2000 and Hillary Clinton 2016.
Biden wasn't my first or second choice probably not even my third but he is the nominee barring events that no one would want to happen such as Biden falling ill. Biden won, it is time to beat Trump.
