Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumThe Media. Young Voters. Sanders Spreads the Blame for His Decline.
As Democrats in six states voted Tuesday, Mr. Sanders, his team and his supporters have come up with explanations for his loss of momentum that deflect the responsibility onto others.
So when Pete Buttigieg and Senator Amy Klobuchar dropped out of the race and endorsed Mr. Biden, to the Sanders camp it wasnt because theyd won next to no support from black voters and run out of money, it was part of an establishment plot. And Senators Cory Booker and Kamala Harris were simply joining the effort to block Mr. Sanders when they backed Mr. Biden this week.
If they thought that Joe Biden was the best choice, maybe they shouldnt have run, Rasheen Aldridge, a Missouri state representative who was a warm-up speaker for Mr. Sanders in St. Louis, said in an interview. Some of these candidates Kamala has been out for a long time, Booker has been out for a while. Its all very kind of fishy how things are working out.
..............................................................
Mr. Sanders blamed his Super Tuesday performance in part on the venom of the corporate media. Last month, his campaign manager said the liberal cable network MSNBC had been unfair to Mr. Sanders, while Mr. Sanders said supporters in California may find it impossible to vote for him because of the states mail ballot rules.

(19,040 posts)Surrogates for Bernie Sanders are pulling what rabbits out of the hat now they think they have to justify what is taking place. The Primaries on March 17th will be the deciding factor for Sen. Sanders.
With the DNC just a few months away, time is running out. Voters are backing the candidate they view the better to beat Trump. They are fired up and ready to go. It is a matter of time before President Obama voices his endorsement of Joe Biden.

(6,212 posts)if anything the media helped him as they did a real hit job on Biden. After the first three primaries the media portrayed Biden as a big loser and it was 'll over for him. Perhaps he isn't inspiring the youth that much. Lastly, the voters are for the Democrat Biden and that's what counts in the end.

(32,640 posts)Warren's campaign negatively and placing the blame fully on her own policies, most notably, her increasing support of shoring up the ACA rather than staying with the "MFA or bust" talking point.
But Bernie was a "victim" of so much more believable conspiracies on the part of the entire mainstream free press, the DNC, the other candidates, same day voter registration laws...

Who of his colleagues has jumped to contradict HRC's words in that interview?
Well, other than Klobuchar, who his campaign is now casting in a conspiracy to take him down.
