Bernie's made it clear: He's NEVER going away

Great.

His "questions" to Biden are ridiculous coming from a man who has been in the House and Senate for the past several decades.

He needs to talk about what HE plans to do, not demand that Biden answer his questions.

Actually, he needs to drop out. But that's clearly not going to happen.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Biden doesn't work for him or answer to him.

And any Democrat who thinks that Bernie has the authority to demand answers from Biden and/or won't vote for Biden over Trump because he won't answer the questions Bernie barks at him or they don't like the answers he gives needs to do some serious soul-searching.

Bernie wants to be president. He should be talking to the voters, not behaving as if Democratic voters have hired him to screen Biden for us.

And if he wants to be president, he's not going to get there by making arguments for "those who support him." He should be trying to get people who don't support him to change their minds. And he's not going to make that happen behaving like he did today. That's the reason Biden is stomping all over him in states across the country.

First of all, I think they are good questions, and as someone on CNN's panel pointed out, he's giving Biden the opening to win over his voters who still aren't sold. He's also giving himself cover to concede if he doesn't do well after they've had a substantive one-on-one debate on the issues.

He's talked all along about what HE plans to do, but I (and the commentators on CNN) got the sense that he sees the writing on the wall now and knows he very likely won't be the nominee. So he is speaking for his supporters and even some of us who didn't support him this time who want to know what Biden is going to do other than end the insanity (which is certainly not insignificant, but it would be nice to have something to vote for instead of just someone to vote against).

Bernie didn't attack Biden in that press conference, he focused his fire on Trump, and he made it crystal clear he's going to support Biden assuming he wins the nomination. In other words, pretty much everything anti-Bernie people here have been demanding. But it's never enough, is it?
