(49 posts)The contrast in their composure is striking. Bernie needs to stop pointing and it wouldnt hurt to see him smile every now and then instead of the constant scowl.

(5,865 posts)He has glaringly been on the wrong side of so many issues. He is not the future. A vote for him is a a desparate look back to the past. Don't get me wrong, I will vote for Biden. I am not a Bernie Bros. Warren was my candidate. But the notion of him being a uniter. If you call pandering to your opponents by placatingly adopting their ideas "uniting", then maybe he is. It just seems like a spineless tactic... and shows weakenss to me. Where were his ideas this election? Where were his field offices? DId he just think he was going to be annointed? Yes he did. And it paid off. While "winging it" paid off for Joe, it is an approach that does not sit well with me. He is so thick with emotional bluster. I wanted a prick to go up against Trump the Bully. Not a nice guy political insider.
Watch this.

On edit -- Bernie really screwed up when he could not shut his pie hole about Castro and Cuba.

(158,535 posts)but much like I would vote for a ham sandwich over Trump, I'd vote for Biden any day over BS. As did most DEMS.

(629 posts)I will vote for Biden without hesitation if he is the nominee. Let's just try to tone down the Bernie Bashing threads. Basically you're telling a large part of the Dem electorate "F your candidate!" Then you want to turn around and say "now vote for my candidate!"

(18,402 posts)Bernie is waiting for the Messiah to come and save everything (bringing M4All and the abolition of billionaires, after which all problems, including pandemics, natural disasters, and income inequality will be abolished in a blaze of light).
Biden has his feet planted firmly on Earth, shirt sleeves rolled up, ready to attack the issues and better as many situations as we can with whatever tools can be mustered right now. He doesnt want to wait for Paradise to be saved. There are too many problems to hack away at while we still have time in this lifetime.

(1,089 posts)many of us Biden supporters were wishing this debate would just go away while Sanders supporters were screaming for it. Today Joe Bros are happy they went ahead with it and Bernie Bros not so much.
What a difference a day makes. Hey, that would make a good title for a song...
Damn, somebody beat me to it again.
