However, he, by himself, does not have the power to move an election. So, he is seeking an injunction from the court. No one is sure if he will be able to get one. That is where the confusion is coming from.

It's not just for president, but for every other office on the general election ballot from senator to governor to county magistrate. Change it to mail-in - great idea! But cancel it entirely - no way!

After Tuesday they can look at future state primary elections, BUT hell today is Monday for christ sake! Why the fuck did he wait this long? ( i know just to fuck us up) Courts need to stay the fuck out of this!

DeWine stated he does not have the authority to stop the election so he wants someone to file a suit (which he supports) to delay the election. ‘Tis a bit convenient, given the fact that he has been getting a lot of calls and knows delaying the election makes sense politically and medically given the social distancing restrictions enacted. He has done a good job on this issue, but nevertheless I find it ironic.

It, in fact, could be much worse from a safety standpoint.
DeWine could have done what Florida is doing, implement safety procedures for poll workers to follow, but he chose naked politics.

DeWine should have asked much earlier to postpone it, not the evening before the election.
As it is, this is going to be a giant mess, because poll workers were wrongly told not to show up.
