Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumSome will not vote for Sen Sanders no matter what.
Thank God it is nothing that I have to worry about now. Bernie Sanders will never be our candidate. But some are not having it anymore. The vote blue no matter who is being thrown out the window. And it is all because of the Sanders surrogates, and campaign staff.
Only Sen Sanders can stop them by publicly disavowing and standing down. And then letting the trolls be exposed for the Putin-ites they are.. The problem stems from Sen Sanders rehiring said same people who used the trolls and Putin people in 2016...God I just hope they did not turn over the Democratic mailing lists they insisted on having to the Putin-ites.. who knows.
Just as we say Trump is responsible for his own misery, so is Sanders for not putting the hammer down when it first started developing.. Wanting to ride that dirty wave to victory without being tainted by filth underneath it, never ever works out.

(120,478 posts)And you're probably right. But I don't think Bernie expects to get the nomination; I think he's just trying to take the whole thing down to start "the revolution."

(11,093 posts)Sanders understands his "revolution" will never happen from inside the Democratic party, so first he has to divide and weaken it.

Nor does this comment offer much enlightenment to the ignorance you impute to commentators here. That is what was requested of you. Continue to fudge about, people may be driven to the conclusion you don't really know much of anything at all....

(23,617 posts)and from some of the Sanders campaign. It could knock us out, but it will never get him elected. That damage has been done.
There are a lot of people who put their faith in him, and he really could have led a movement. I know more than one former Sanders supporter who will never vote for him in any primary or caucus. They have had it too..

(147,386 posts)sneaked (or is it snuck) into his offices in the dead of night and took over. He hired them at the very beginning of his primary campaign, knowing full well that they were not Democratic voters. Who knows if they would even vote for Bernie, if it came to that?
He hired an odd assortment of Steiners and other non-Democrats to staff his campaign. That was the first thing that set off alarm bells in my addled old brain. And, then, he turned them loose to run roughshod over normal primary politics.
Bernie not only hired them, but left them to act as they saw fit on his behalf, with little or no leadership from the busy Senator. "Who ARE those people?" was an oft-asked question from life-long Democrats.
That question is still apt. What will become of those staffers once Senator Sanders finally awakens to the reality that he will, once again, not be on the General Election ballot. Where will they go? What will they do? Who will they support? What will they tweet? Who will be their new Jill Stein?
So many questions.
