Love Sherrod Brown. He is living proof that a person can be a true-blue progressive without being a total pain in the ass at the same time.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

He has head screwed on right, and knows who to secure votes on hostile terrain without bending his dedication to progressive and liberal values.

Has one helluva an impressive wife, too....

"From Bernie’s perspective, dropping out of a race once you have no chance of winning is peculiar behavior that can only be explained by the work of a hidden hand. For most politicians, though, it is actually standard operating procedure. Only Sanders seems to think the normal thing to do once voters have made clear they don’t want to nominate you is to continue campaigning anyway."

"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."

I would have supported his presidential bid, were it not for us losing a Senate seat in Ohio. Still, he is a solid, pro-union liberal in that politically wacky state and she is a brilliant columnist.

At least 3 Senators above Bernie have officially endorsed Biden (Harris, Gillibrand & now Brown). Booker & Durbin just below BS also have. Warren all but officially endorsed the other day. Of the remaining Senators with a more progressive voting record than Bernie or slightly less can't imagine a single one not endorsing Joe eventually.

Seems ol' Sanders is getting seriously outflanked on both his left and his right. Sure is lonely at the top.

I think that while Sherrod agrees with many of Bernier stances, it is clear that Sherrod is not buying into this idea of destroying the party or country to save it that has been espoused by Bernie surrogates like Susan Saranson or Cornell West.
