Buttigieg knows the only plans that help are the ones that can get through Congress, and he’s boldly working to tackle the root problems with solutions that will get done.
That’s how policy platforms like his Douglass Plan for Black America came about. Buttigieg visited places like Detroit and Allendale County, South Carolina, and he heard what would make a meaningful difference in the lives of black people. And he’s put forward an ambitious but achievable blueprint to dismantle systemic racism while also directly helping people like those in my district with targeted investments in everything from entrepreneurship to public education to criminal justice reform.
For example, black mothers are three to four times more likely to die in childbirth, and black infants are more than twice as likely to die as white infants. Buttigieg’s plan to set up Health Equity Zones to address these kinds of disparities, while also helping more black health professionals enter the workforce, is essential.
Buttigieg has proposed a $1 trillion infrastructure agenda that would create six million jobs around the country, with strong labor protections, fair wages and a focus on local hiring and underrepresented communities. He will devote over $90 billion to modernize our nation’s water infrastructure so that every American child — from Flint to Portsmouth, New Hampshire — grows up with clean water coming out of their taps.

Thanks for posting!

IMO, Pete is not just another candidate. He is exceptional - one in a generation, even one in a lifetime. His brilliance (like CaliforniaPeggy, I've never before seen a candidate who can think on his feet like he can. And no one connects the dots like Pete), and his fresh, broad, innovative, and inclusive vision, are unique. Pete brings much-needed fresh energy to the table. Everyone else is stuck in the same meme we've been trapped in for the last 40+ years. But Pete moves beyond that, and, more importantly, will move US beyond all that. He is just what we need, and his time is NOW.

I'm finding it harder and harder to understand so many people are still slow to realize how special he is. And how vital it is to the future of our country that we change that channel and move onward and upward, now.

since he was totally unknown at the beginning, but it is sometimes tough to watch the way he's often dismissed.

those climate-change protestors (of suspect origin)in NH- how PRESiDENTIALLY he dealt with them - I’m reminded what an amazingly great campaign he’s run, and I end up in awe of the lightning-fast thinking and strong emotional core that guide him to just the right responses to these protestors in a tricky and unexpected situation. And that leaves me with the thought: he’s just GOT to win. At some point his excellence just has to be noticed.

And I agree with his reasoning on all points.
Especially these:
“We should pick our presidents the way we pick our doctors”- YES.
“Servant leader”- YES
Trusting his judgment on everything - YES.
