Did U.S. Presidential Candidate Joe Biden Say He Had 'No Empathy' for the Plight of Younger People?

This was posted a few days ago, but what wasn't posted was the full context:

"As shown in @IbrahimAS97’s viral May 2019 video, Biden did say he had “no empathy” for the plight of younger people. However, the 16-second clip did not show the former vice president making a specific, emphatic comparison between the relative calm of the present moment and the social and political tumult of his own youth in the late 1960s. He was not saying, in absolute or general terms, that he had no empathy for younger people.
In omitting this important context, IbrahimAS97’s video gives an incomplete and somewhat misleading presentation of what Biden actually said."

There is a lot of intentional dishonesty going on, and it isn't only coming from the media

Taking things out of context, is dishonest, and this isn't the first time that some have done

Thanks for pointing this out. Unfortunately, we can expect more of the same. In the run up to 2008 emmaverybo May 2019 #1

Obama got bashed again and again over his association with Reverend Wright. A YouTube video took a few minutes of a Wright sermon post 9/11 out of context, and the most liberal news hosts would not let it go. I remember Hitchens and Russert gossiping and clucking while Hilary brought up Wright in a one on one debate, simply using the media talking points as her own.
Ironically, he had been seated at her table as one of the invitees to her husband’s atonement breakfast with faith leaders after the Lewinski scandal.
We need to watch media carefully.
But the good news was that Obama managed to get his message out and he won, though of course he had to throw Wright under the bus.
Along the same lines, while Hilary ran against Obama, a multi-part YouTube made for YouTube movie aired, slickly produced, making her out to be evil incarnate, as some crazy claim against her was also getting a day or two in court.
True, she lost that one. But came back strong in 2016 with the same garbage spewing out of the anti-Clinton cottage industry.
I do think we must correct these intentional mischaracterizations wherever and whenever we find them.

Pennsylvania voters "cling to their guns and god"? You'd have thought his campaign was over with that one. Then there were the veiled inferences that Obama wasn't really a Christian. It will get much nastier as time goes on.

First of all, I don't believe in attacking our own. Only fools would believe it. We saw Joe recently for 8 years as VP. Wake up people.

what Joe was referring to

That is dishonest nest and not right

You are right, we should not attack our own, but it is naive to think it won’t happen, and it it is good to be aware of that, and prepared
