we lost my partner's son a couple of month's ago and the hurt is always there somewhere

experiences with grief, I do not think any loss can compare to that of a child, young or adult. Deep condolences.

make an excellent President. We so miss someone who cares. I don't understand folks who attack him at DU except they always seem to be Bernie supporters. Sad.

making it to the point where you can function and go on living. It was especially effective because Joe Biden has been through the crucible, experienced that profound loss more than once. He is a man who can connect on a very human level as well as bring his lifetime of experience and knowledge to the task at hand.

Though he ran unsuccessfully before, this is Joe Biden's moment. We're lucky he's around and willing to serve the country.
