NYT: One Year From Election, Trump Trails Biden but Leads Warren in Battlegrounds
Despite low national approval ratings and the specter of impeachment, President Trump remains highly competitive in the battleground states likeliest to decide his re-election, according to a set of new surveys from The New York Times Upshot and Siena College.
Article explains what we all know. We need the candidate with the best odds of beating trump because trump isn't going to play fair anywhere, and particularly in these states.

Sure, it's still a year away, but tick tock.

that women in general and Warren specifically are 'not likable enough.' Because it means that sexism is raising it's ugly head and continues to mold opinions in more voters' heads than we'd like to admit. It's also a easy, even lazy way of discounting women in positions of power.

That being said, this poll and others this morning show a worrisome tight race with only Joe Biden taking the largest % of votes in the states that will matter most.

Absolutely, we need the candidate who has the best odds to defeat Trump in the end. Since entering the primary, Joe Biden has been that candidate. If anything, these polls belie the theory that any of our Democratic candidates can kick Trump to the curb.

That wasn't true when Biden entered; it isn't true now.
